Founded by industry veteran Tiffany Knowlton, Elite was born out of a passion to provide a space where young artists can explore all facets of their creativity under one roof. With over 40 years of professional experience in classical dance, musical theatre, stage performance, and arts education, Ms. Tiffany brings an unmatched level of expertise to the Dallas–Fort Worth dance scene.

At Elite, we take pride in delivering a comprehensive and immersive performing arts curriculum that goes far beyond traditional training. Our annual recitals, showcases, and competition pieces have become local sensations — celebrated for their originality, imaginative storytelling, dynamic choreography, and one-of-a-kind custom costuming.

CURRENTLY OFFERS:

 

INTRO TO DANCE Primer Class

For Novice students ages 4-6 years old, however, students as young as 3 years old *may trial* our Intro to Dance Class Primer for readiness assessment.

Ballet Class Level I 

For Novice students ages 5-7 years old and/or students rising from Primer

Ballet Class Level II 

For Novice students ages 7-9 years old and/or students rising from Ballet I

Ballet Class Level III

For Novice students ages 9-12 years old and/or students rising from Ballet II

Ballet Class Level IV

For Intermediate students ages 11-13 years old and/or students rising from Ballet III

Hip-Hop All-Levels Class

For students ages 5-9 years old and/or students rising from Intro To Dance Class. Students under the age of 5 who are interested in eventually transitioning to Hip Hop Class should enroll in our Intro to Dance Primer Class

Jazz & Poms Class

For Novice - Intermediate students ages 7-13 years old. Ballet enrollment at Elite is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all students who wish to also enroll in our Jazz & Broadway class. Ballet and Jazz & Broadway compliment one another. Both genres are important for strong technical development, and are both foundationally rooted in classical dance steps, artistry, and technique

 

EDCT STARS Competition team

Elite Dance Company of Texas' Grand National Award-Winning Competition Team, EDCT STARS, is assembled in-studio via nomination. Our nomination system considers individual student attendance, behavior, teachability, attitude, showmanship, and social interactions/cooperation with others. Nominations are considered for future EDCT STARS team placement when any of our current EDCT STARS DANCE Moms, Dads, students and/or Ms. Tiffany proposes or submits a new candidate.

*Note about ALL Enrollments/Placements: All students will be assessed by Ms. Tiffany on their first day in attendance. Assessment will emphasize and ensure appropriate class level placement and student readiness. Ms. Tiffany will reach out to all new student parents/guardians regarding any necessary changes, if applicable.*
